Song-by-Song Album Review by UK’s Sonic Abuse

Some writers share their thoughts on an album holistically, giving an overall impression. In this review, Sonic Abuse takes an in depth, song-by-song approach to breaking down Slug Comparison’s self-titled debut. This method ends up bringing up so many influences buried within the music: Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Radiohead, Gabriel-era Genesis. I like it when a reviewer mentions an artist I’ve never heard of, in this case, Steve Thorne, giving me something new to discover that I’ll probably like.
